Hello. I'm Lesley, the owner of WOOF Taunton.

I've had a passion for animals, the countryside, and the outdoors for as long as I can remember.

​

Growing up in Somerset, our family had a beautiful Golden Retriever called Sandy. Many of my happiest childhood memories are of walking him with my mum, alongside our elderly neighbour's four Shelties.  Those early experiences gave me a lifelong love, understanding, and respect for dogs.

​

In my twenties, I volunteered at weekends at Ferne Animal Sanctuary near Chard, where I helped care for the dogs in the kennels. My role included cleaning, preparing meals, exercising the dogs and, of course, giving them plenty of love and affection. It was an incredibly rewarding experience that strengthened my commitment to animal care.

After spending many years living and working in London, I returned to Somerset and now call Taunton my home. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, I decided to turn my passion for dogs, walking and the outdoors into a career by establishing WOOF Taunton.

​

I pride myself on offering a reliable, friendly and trustworthy dog walking and pet sitting service in Taunton and the surrounding areas. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and individual needs, so I always tailor my care to suit them. I will be as flexible as possible to accommodate your requirements and ensure your pet receives the attention, exercise and companionship they deserve.

• Full Public Liability Insurance, including key cover

• A current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
